Nahay-Khay (November 5)
The first day of Chhath Puja is celebrated as Nahay-Khay. On this day, devotees clean their houses and after bathing take a pledge that they will follow this holy festival. On this day, prasad of chana dal, pumpkin curry and rice is prepared. This day is important as the beginning of the puja.
Kharna (6 November)

First Arghya (7 November)
